Miranda is the Vice President and co-owner of the company. Since 2005 she’s managed the financial services operations, including creating financial plans, building portfolios, trading, setting up and maintaining accounts, and handling client requests. One of her favorite parts of the job is creating customized portfolios that screen for environmental, social and governance issues so the clients’ portfolios align with their values.
She graduated from Whatcom Community College with honors and received two Associates Degrees before transferring to Western Washington University and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Business and Economics with a focus on accounting. She is currently studying for the Certified Financial Planner designation. She holds the Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and 66 (NASAA-Uniform Combined State Law Exam) licenses, allowing her to advise on and trade stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and UITs. She also has an insurance license (for WA) and can advise on and offer annuities, life, disability and long-term care insurance policies.
