Miranda and I have just returned from the SRI30 Conference in Colorado Springs. What an experience! This was my first time attending this annual conference which revolves around investing with a socially responsible approach. Future blog postings will delve into the various ways that this is done.
I started off the conference with an intense training session sponsored by US SIF which is The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment. The trainers (shown above in a group photo) included Leslie Samuelrich, President of Green Century Funds and Jennifer Coombs with the College for Financial Planning.
The course covered the implementation of environmental, social and governance (ESG) data into security analysis and discussed the latest trends and research.
More posts yet to come on other sessions. Stay tuned.
